Invisible Children

The invisible children organization is trying to stop the enslavement against children. Not only are these kids being taken away from the homes by a man named Joseph Kony. He not only takes the children away but in order for them to prove their loyalty, they must sometimes have to kill members of their own family. There are over 200,000 children soldiers in the world, Joseph Kony himself has over 60 wives and 40+ children. Some of which he has already put in his war and have died. He has not only kidnapped thousands of other innocent children and women, he has killed countless amounts of them to learn more about the invisible children documentary click on this.
I couldn't find a club that fit this cause directly. The closest one that I could find was the politics, culture, and history club. One of the easiest things you can do to help raise awareness about this topic, is to just go to the home page and make sure you understand everything that is going on with the war. The history, the reasoning behind it, and who the victims are. I couldn't find something on the page https://elearning.fgcu.edu/section/default.asp?id=201201-10648 on something that could actually happen. But on their homepage, they suggest going out and seeing the documentary and making sure you and your friends know what is happening in this part of the world.
